In order to understand more deeply the incalculable contribution that language makes to the human experience, we need to go back to birth. As adults we assume that everything we experience is simply a reflection of what’s obviously there, and so we have little or no ability to recognize the origins of our experience and fail to grasp the reality that is created along with language.
