Consciousness Weekly Introduction
“Seek not to follow in the footsteps of men of old; seek what they sought.”
Matsuo Basho
Welcome to our new Newsletter!
We are going to try to do something unique, which is not done normally in our culture. We will contemplate our own experience of life, self and reality. Why undertake such an effort, you may ask?
It turns out that experiencing the truth frees us from the illusions of self and mind.
This statement is not to be believed. We will never ask you to believe anything. Everything that is stated heretofore should be grasped and experienced by you. This is possible, many Cheng Hsin students have done it. We are not going to sell you an easy-fix scheme.
This is hard work and many challenges lie along the way. You will need to have many insights to glimpse the realities that are communicated. With work, commitment, effort and a lot of questioning though, you will start to experience the depth of this work that is difficult to comprehend.
Contemplation is about discovering what is true. This is possible for everyone, but usually our focus is not directed there. Our purpose here is to change that.
All of the content is created by Peter Ralston. Then shared, collected, and communicated with the help of apprentices.
Good luck in your efforts.
